The player spawns in his home town (name undecided). A gaurd runs up to him.
"Hey!! We need help! A girl is trapped in the cave to the north!" The gaurd continues on. "We cannot get her, we must defend the town, there are bandits to the south. May you retrieve her for us?"
The player accepts *no decline option* and goes up the path and to the northern cave. He goes through a tunnel, which acts like a tutorial, teaching the player basic magic spells and combat.
As the player reaches the end of the cave he/she steps into a room with 5 doors. Each door has an element aligned with it *this is where the player picks his/her element*. They pick a door and step through it, into a temple.
The young girl is standing at the altar, praying. The player walks up to her and has an in depth conversation about the element, telling the player to go to a different temple if he/she does not want this element to be part of him. After the player picks his/her element the girl goes home and the player follows.
Once the girl and player reach the town, a guard comes up and talks to the player.
"Hey thanks! We fended off those pesky bandits and you saved the girl. I really owe you one bud. Where were you from again? *The gaurd and player have a multi-question converstion, during this conversation the player's answers determine their starting attributes and abilities*"
The gaurd reccomends the player visit (City X) the only large city left not controlled by a god, to start making their living.
